Josh at bent creations did the SAS and we have done alot of misc work to the suspension and steering as well over time... That is the prettiest truck you will ever see go through axle alley and highway to hell then drive home unscathed...

Do you know how wide the axles are and what they're from? Does it have dual cases?

Thanks for the link. It doesn't mention the width on the front/rear axles though...

I'm assuming it's a 67" Ford HP44 6-lug in the front?

65.5" wms HP Ford Bronco/F 250 Dana 44 with Chevy/Waggy outers.......upgrading to 8 lug soon and it will be 67" wms to match the 14 bolt that's going in the rear.

Crazy. Want to sell your axles? :D

What size fender and flares are those? Was the 44 8 lug before hand? If I remember correctly 8-lug outers increase the total width of the axle.

EDIT: NM Just saw you're keeping the 44.

The fenders are Glassworks, 3.5" flare. I'm keeping the 44 and converting it from 6 lug to 8 lug (going from 65.5 to 67" wms) for now until I have the funds to replace it with something a little more Beefy. I have yet to break it.... too badly (blew up the crosspin on the aussie locker and took out the carrier and I have blown 1 hub to date) I have been pretty hard on it so that's not bad for a little under 2 years of hard wheeling on 38"+ tires.

Whats the reason for upgrading to 8 lug? To gain the extra width? Your rig is my favorite taco. When time and money allow my dad and I will be doin the same thing to my 04. What things would you do different or change now that youve had it a while? What things do you like the most about it or would you do again on another rig if you were to build one again?

A 60 and a 14 is what he would have done differently. Actually, if you like his rig so much you can own the axle as I think he is following the rest of us who upgraded to 60's and 14 bolts.

As AzRat said........I am building a 14 bolt for the rear (I'm tired of bent flanges, blown seals and blown ring and pinions with the Toy stuff) and am looking for a HP 60 for the front. I might upgrade the 44 to 8 lug to get a little extra width out of it, match the 14 bolt lug pattern, etc., but I blew up the second crosspin in my aussie locker and don't really want to spend much more time and money on the 44 as I see 42's in my near future.

.........In hindsight, I probably would have run 4.7's in the crawler and Bobbed and Dovedtailed the bed.
