Supported the front of the truck today on my Waggy's (these are stock 7 leafers, NOT 44044s) and they sit really flat, making me think my compression travel is going to suck (or break springs). Anyone else that runs Waggys have any problems putting them into a negative arch?

My 7 leafs run almost perfectly flat and I have no problem negative arching them. About the only problem I have is my draglink hitting my springs at full compresion.

So being flat doesn't affect the compression that much because you're able to negative arch them with no problems, I think I understand now. :D Can you tell I've never had leaf springs in the front before... :flipoff2:

AMJ with your waggies sitting so flat how much lift does it have??
Have you droped the mounts?
What size tires are you running?

Flat springs a good, more flex. Run bump stops so they will only negative arch so much!!!:rasta:

my waggies are kinda flat as well... Still a descent lift - but a little negative arch it starting to form on the passenger side towards the front.

the stock 7 leaf waggys flexed like mad and they did sit flat but they had the same arch as the 44044s with no weight on them
