im looking at buying a 85 stock 4x4, it comes with a extra set of nice rims with very nice 33" bfgs on them.
i know i would have to cut fender, dont care, chop chop saw saw........ might even get baja fiber glasses.
what i do want to know is will they clear the fire wall and steering box with no lift?

They should clear if you just chop the fenders enough.

If they are a 33x12.50 on 15x8 rim with no backspacing, and it's stock height. It's possible they might rub on sharp turns IMO.

Should be fine. Even if they do rub a little in certain situations (steering locked, front suspension flexed), who cares? Its not going to stop you from getting where you're going.

Should be OK, I have seen people with 32's and no fender trimming.

If it's IFS, you might actually be better off as far as rubbing goes.
