: 37x12.50R17 MT/R's > $188 @ tirerack
Please excuse me if this is "last week's news." I was just curious to see how much tirerack.com wanted for the 15" variety of 37" MT/R's and saw that they have the 17" size for a buck less than the 15's!

Sloan 06-04-2002, 10:56 PM Everything that I tried came up that they didn't carry 37" tires.
Dustball 06-04-2002, 11:15 PM Wow, sweet deal- last one on the page.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?make=Goodyear&model=Wrangler+MT%2FR I should put my 17x10's to good use, if I had the money to buy the tires.
Sloan 06-04-2002, 11:27 PM Now remember with Tire Rack it is at least $30 per tire to ship them so there go the savings.
Bones 06-05-2002, 04:06 AM I paid $190 and drove in and drove out of the GY dealer just down the street. :D They will match prices to an extent, they just had to get "authorizaion" through "headquarters" :D
My $0.02
arndog 06-05-2002, 09:02 AM not like it matters but following the link the 17's are 4 bucks more then the 15's

Phunky ... I could have sworn the 15" size was $189 last night when I checked it. You are correct though.

The group buy guy wants 210.00+shipping for a 17"
Shipping was 15.00 ea about the same as sales tax would of been.
I went to the local Discount Tire yesterday and paid $175 out the door for 37x12.5x15.
44Runner 06-05-2002, 05:30 PM i just got a quote from Merchant's (chain) down the road for the 35x12.50R15 MTRs and they said 180 mounted and balanced. I think I paid 170 for my SSRs (smaller). Is that a good deal? They do all their prices "out the door." What does mounting and balancing normally run these days?
dorfs 06-05-2002, 08:12 PM So now where do I get a nice 6 or 7 inch backspaced wheel to fit my Chevy 60's in a 17 inch wheel? I can only find the funny Ford bolt pattern. Maybe 8 inches wide. Can yoiu re-drill the Ford stuff?
Did I see a post where somebody got some 17's to fit on some hummer wheels? I want a lot of backspacing.

I have 17" Alum TR beadlocks and the BS is 5" and the lug pattern in 5x5.5"
I got mine up here for $284 CDN a tire which works out to $185 USD a tire at my local Fountain Tire, and they mounted and balanced all 5 for me for free. :D
