Seem like a decent unit, at least the same if not better than my 20 Year old crapsman.

They have a monster stainless box for 650.00 with bearing drawers and soft stop sliders. Seems pretty decent, just thought I would ask before I bought it.

I love mine...use it everyday as I work in my garage 4-5 hours a day.

Wipe it down with stainless cleaner and looks new. Drawers are excellent too.

I have had one for probably 4+ years and I absolutely LOVE it!!! Way better than the Craftsman, even the "professional" series - IMHO.

I have probably 500+ lbs. of tools in mine and it rolls around with easy and the draws glide very smoothly.

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a new box.

Mines workin out just fine. I left the protective stuff on it so I can write what is in what drawers and direct people if they are workin in my shop with me and I need something. Not to mention its just that, a PROTECTIVE layer.

I've had mine for a couple years... no issues. Good quality. Best bang for the buck I've found. Recommended.

I bought one at Sam's Club, pretty much the equivilent of costco. It has been an excellent box for the money. When I first bought it, I was thinking I didn't have enough tools to fill it. Boy was I wrong! I had it packed full in the first week or so. Now I need another box.

Here is the pic of the one I have:

I believe it was right around $600, all ball bearing, pretty decent locks, and I have had it for about 4 years. For the price, I don't think you could beat it. Especially compared to Crapsman boxes in the same range.

The older ones 3-4 years....were made by Hammerhead? I hear those were awesome steals. The CSPS ones currently at Costco look like good, economical units. If I had the room, I'd probably buy one...

We have one in the shop, about a year and a half old, been a good box except for one thing, the draws have started to sag a bit, once you unlock the box the draws all slide open, we had to put blocks under the front to tip it back so the draws stay shut. still for the price its hard to beat.

Think it would be possible to remove the front casters and put a thinnish shim between the caster and box? Crack-headed idea that would make it too tippy when rolling? I've been eying those Sam's SS boxes for years.

Great box. When I got it I filled it with my tools to add some weight and hung from one of the upper drawers. I weigh 190 and the drawer was fully extended. didnt do a thing to it. When I run iout of room I will be getting another.

I've had the CSPS one for a coupla years - been fantastic. I've got it loaded to the gills. I also have a craftsman, and it's total crap in comparison.

Northern tool has some very nice ones in the same price range. They are black krinkle coated and hold up great.

Must be used...but still looks in great shape!

A unit like that with the stainless top would cost about 3000$ around here :(

I love mine...use it everyday

I'll second that. For the price, the fit and finish is exceptional. It's much better than any Craftsman box I have owned. I would buy another one if I had more garage space.

I've got two of them, one about 4 years old, one about 2 months old. The older one has better slides on it, new one has 3 drawers that hang up halfway out. Not a big deal except one is my socket drawer and it's a PITA when you have to pull the drawer open at terminal velocity to get it over the "bump" in the sliders.

Overall, best box on the market for the $$ in my opinion.. hence the reason I bought a second one when I ran out of space in the first one.
