I need some help with fitment of RE Shocks. I am planning on Installing 4 inch lift springs for short arm lift. I have the following RE part Number Shocks in my garage
RJX703/704.
You click on the Budget Boost section and it gives the Collapsed and Extended lengths for this part number. But not in the Shocks Section?
RJX 703 23.5/14.9
RJX 704 23.87/14.87
The other part number for RE Monotube shocks is
RJX 701 27.8/17.2
RJX 702 24.875/15.375
This is my confusion, the RJX703/704 combo is listed for lifts 2.5 to 3.5 inches. Most RE 3.5 inch lifts usually yeild above 3.5 inches
The RJX 701/702 combo is listed as TJ/LJ 4.5
But above each heading it states "Fits a Rubicon Express 2"-3.5" TJ/LJ lift" WTF???
The RJX 702 is also listed for lifts 5.5-7.5
Anyone Sort this out for me? I called RE and said these are new shocks? They sounded confused as well.
I just need to know if I can use these shocks with 4 inch springs or are they going to be too short.
