: Need documentation RE 7-leaf Waggy Fronts!

I just purchased what I THOUGHT were 7-leaf Waggy front leaf springs...from www.teamgrandwagoneer.com ...Well, when they arrived, they are 4-leaf springs! I'm unhappy to say to least. I could see it if they were even 5-leaf...I believe, [and why I'm posting] that waggys had either 5-leaf or 7-leaf front springs. I actually tried calling the company to confirm...but was only able to leave a voice mail...to which they never replied...Mistake number one...never buy from someone who doesn't bother returning a call from a prospective customer. DUMB.

So, am I correct? regarding the 5 or 7 leaf thing? Does anyone know of any site that lists the 'official' specs on Jeeps? I need some 'ammo' to argue with... I think that they've just drilled some springs to the correct lengths...then called 'em 'original'...:mad3:

Their 4 leaf spring "may" be the same "in function" as a stock waggy spring. Did they specify how many leaves were in the pack? Their "stock" or "original" may only refer to ride height. Oh yea, in the future don't use RE in the title unless you're talking about Rubicon Express. We all aint too bright around here.

Thanks to both of you...yup forgot about the 'real' meaning of RE! and YES, that's what I'm looking for...has ANYONE ever received a 'stock' Waggy that had 4 leafs?

After I wasn't so pissed off...I went back to the web site and looked at the SPECIFIC wording of the item...and all they say is that it'll 'fit' ...then they list the years...pretty sorry way of doing business:shaking: they know darn well exactly what they are doing.

What I really need is a site that lists all of the stock offerings of JEEP from a suspension standpoint.
