California Rock Crawlers Association is putting on a 3 part rock crawl similar to cal rocs. It's a small event but still alot of fun. I won first place at this event last time it was run in Feb. They say they are working on harder courses for even more challange even though 3/4 of the rigs that showed up broke before the weekend was over. One thing I really like about these events is it's based on time. The fastest time through the whole course wins. Not a bunch of points for backing stoping and such. I am planning to run in the pro class and hope to see some familar faces. Here is a link for more info....

Yep a couple of rules do seem a little funny. I am hoping they change the insurance & license requirements. If have to use your insurance and they find out this was an off road compition they ain't going to pay a penny. Also many rigs that are built to pro class specs don't qualify for license plates and are green stickered.

I'm game Nick, if you're up to it, sounds like fun.
-Green stickers aren't a big deal, but I'd really like to see the insurance rule be changed for pro class.

Shouldn't have a problem with the green sticker thing. Just get it insured as an offroad vehicle. Allstate does it and it is cheap. I know cause that is exactly how mine is set-up. Kev are you gonna compete? If so , let me know and i'll come up and video the event.
