Steve and Deana brought pictures they took from Moab to the club meeting last night. Several really good shots of my roll over. Almost like they were expecting it. :D

I had a couple close calls on my first attempts... Here, I had clutched and was rolling out of a near roll. Check out that back tire. :)

The moment of truth.... See if you can find the driver.. :D

How did the cage hold up under the spare?

Did not faze it. The only dammage was at the point the bar going around the fender attached to the windshield loop. Since my spreader bar running in front of my windshield is too high (I did not want to go thru the body), it puts extra stress at that attachment point. It tweaked the cage a bit there. However, my tube door still closes (a bit of effort now required :) ) and with a little hinge adjustment, my stock doors also closed (the body is free float within the cage). :D

Considering the front fell a good 3-4' onto solid rock, I was real happy. All with just 1-1/2" .100 wall tubing!

Gotta love that 4130 Chromoly. Worth every penny. :D

I can see some areas that you could gusset. mainly at the bottom of your windshield bar and windshield hoop. This would help strengthen that hoop a bit. Even the small gussets help disperse the load in a roll. Glad that was all the damage that happened. Gotta love a free roll :D

Hey Mark, speaking of rollovers, I hear the course at Disney this weekend is going to be pretty brutal. How's Jayson's prep work coming along. He IS competing right?

Yea, the spare sux! But, we've had that debate before. Where do you put something that big. On a trail that take 6-8 hrs to run, you just can't risk not taking one.....
On the trail, I don't notice the weight up there, but around town it is more noticable. I can get some awesome body roll going around corners in town.. :D :D
Can't wait to see what it does when I get the coils on the front. :rasta:

Yep, he is almost ready. I wired his inboard winch control this weekend, and hooked up his onboard air. He installed his ram for hydro assist last night and he has three complete front axle sets ready as spares :). He's gonna work on tube doors tonight, then tomorrow I'll go over there and we'll put together tool kits and mount spares.

I have not heard anything about the coarse yet, but I'll bet carnage will be abundant! I'll have my camera batteries charged up and ready to go! :D
