Rear disc and small GM calipers?? [Archive]

By mistake I ordered the AA mfg. brackets that mount the small GM Monte Carlo calipers. My rotors are 1 1/4" and the loaded calipers only allow a width of 1 1/8". Should I just belt sand 1/16" off each pad and go for it? or is there other options?:smokin: Sundowner 06-05-2002, 08:18 AM I believe those calipers are designed for 7/8" rotors Chark 06-05-2002, 09:41 AM More than likely...I'll have to go to the other mounts and big calipers like the frt.s then.
