It a choice between those or the BFG's M/t's.
For Mud and loose dirt here in the Northeast...

Do you like the Bridgestone's??

Whats up slider, post some pics of your Zuk.

Hows the rover?

I have never had a set of bridgestones.......but the LR crowd likes em....

IMO, none of the BFG-style M/T tires are worth a shit in mud...

I took two runs with BFG M/Ts on my old 4runner, and gave them back to my buddy, and bought swampers, much much better. YMMV. :D

No, I like these...

If it doesn't say Super Swamper on the sidewall, it's an all-terrain.

What are they going on and what will you be using them for?

Hard to recommend otherwise. I would take Goodyear MTR's over the the two you listed for any application, but go with the BFG if forced to choose b/t the two.

I'm assuming it is an on/off road DD and you dont want to deal with loud bumpy bias tires from the first two you listed. Have you looked at the Radial SSR or Radial TSL? These will work better than the BFG, bridgestones, or goodyears in the muck, and are still pretty quiet and streetable.

BTW, the swampers I mentioned in my earlier reply were TSL Radials. They worked very well, and weren't horrible on the street.

I have a set of Bridgestone Dueler All Terrian tires. They are not the mud terrian thou. Some people at offroad.com told me that the Bridgestone All Terrians is a good tire. I now have BFGoodrich All Terrian on my Zuk.

I like the Bridgestone All Terrians better because the tread looks agressive. That is all I know because I am not a tire expert. :D

I had a set of the Dueler A/T's on my daily driver, POS's when the weather was wet and ran about 15,000 miles before I saw the wear indicator, but I ask alot from my tires...

Very weak tread, numerous flats, now have BFG All-terrains and have beaten the hell out of them, have 25,000miles on them and still 3/4 tread left.

As for the mud terrains, the dueler M/T's on the vehicles in my 4wd club don't do worth a dog-sh*t...

One set is on a full-size ford, the other a jeep with a 360 in it...

Sometimes brand name is the best way to go...Swampers are the sh*t for mud, but if you drive it every day, do you really wanna spend the money for a low tread life tire?...

You have to decide what its worth to you, between treadlife, or getting hung up...

You should get 40K on either of the Swamper Radials.

Hell I would get Swampers Traxus M/T before the BFG or Bridgestone

I run Dueler A/T's on my DD Kicks. They corner like they're on rails (and I do a lot of HARD cornering, 'cause my daily commute is a snake of a mountain road). They do great in snow. They wear out fast. I NEVER pay full price for 'em (after the first set), coz they've got a 60,000 mile tread-wear warranty on 'em, and I get about 15,000 to 18,000 before they are not enough to make it through March snow. You don't have to run 'em bald to get the reduced price on replacements. They have a formula they use where if the % tread wear is greater than the % of 60,000 miles that you have on 'em, they start knocking $$$ off the replacement set. They are NOT M/T's though. They'll plug up in heavy mud. That's why I'm putting Super Swampers (32 X 9.50) on my Trail Sidekick, after I lift it this weekend.

I'm all for swampers too but bfg muds seem like they last a hell of a lot longer than the other wanna be mud terrains out there. I'd go with the bfg's unless mtr's are a possibilty but I dont know about their tread wear since I've never run them.

For some reason I beat waaaaaay around the bush before finally stepping up to Swampers. Had Wild Country's, BFG ATs, BFG MTs, and MT/Rs.

For a DD, it's either the MT/Rs (80% tread when I sold them at 15,000 miles) or the BFGs. That's as non-agressive tire as I can stand.

You can have my TSLs when you pry them from my cold dead... wait, no... you can have them when I buy 38x12.50s. :D
