I'm getting closer to finishing my lil money pit, well finishing it enough for now, these things work in stages.... DD, mild, extreme, trail only rig, comp rig hehehhe...

I've got an 84 cab but the harness for under the hood was cut as it enters the fender on both sides, in my yard I have yet to find any yotas with the front halves of the harnesses intact.

I would like to have the fuse box and all that bs so i can get the stock column to work, signals, brake lights, headlamps, parklights, all that good stuff...

#1. Should I keep looking and then splice the harness to the one I have.

#2. Order a complete harness from another truck off of car-part.com

#3. Have a company build me a harness $$$

I have an 84 SR5 EFI cab, 78 buick 3.8, ALL autometer gauges (when they get in, custom dash, no use for stock SR5 crap).

Currently leaning towards ordering a complete factory harness as I've seen some for $75 or so, and I can remove the entire dash assembly in under an hour easily.

How much of a hurry are you in? I have the entire harness out of my '84 xcab out in the garage. It has all the fuseboxes, connectors, no cuts at all. I didn't figure it was worth selling, so I'm planning to pull some of the wires out for some accessories (power windows, power antenna, a few others). This was a fully loaded truck, all options, but it was carbed. Are you interested in this?

Get the complete harness, splicing leads to problems down the road.:D
