: 2000 Zr2 Sas ?
chris420 06-23-2007, 03:58 PM I am new to this site and I tried to search but the search was not working. My buddy has a 2000 ZR2 S10 that we would like to do a SAS in. I have never seen a ZR2 S10 with a live axle in the front. Has anyone done this before? I and my buddy have been welding for about 4 years now and we have built 3 sets of rockrails and 3 bumpers as well as homebrew lift kits so we feel that we can tackle the axle swap. We are looking for some suggestions, pics and so on.
Thank You !

1TONZR2 06-25-2007, 08:24 AM coilovers are better! haha we used a set of TJ 6" springs on a buddies S10, they worked well.

chris420 10-07-2008, 05:39 PM Has anyone done a wright up on a SAS for a ZR2? We want to leaf springs in the front. Any help would be great. I have serched on a few sites but cant seem to find what I am looking for unless I am a member.
DieselS10 10-07-2008, 05:51 PM There is also some good info and several trucks to look at on S10forum.com and S10extremist.org. There isn't really to much to it, just do your homework before you start.

Donahue is the guy you wana talk to about the kit.. he posted on that page..unfortunately, our kit will not work with the zr2 frames, they are not the asymmetrical monstrosity that the normal s10 frames are.
tunaboat 12-23-2008, 10:59 PM whats the difference between the zr2 frame and the normal s10 frame?
