: Enclosed Trailers... Explain this to me NJ 06-23-2007, 05:53 PM My gf and I are contemplating saving for an enclosed trailer over the winter for next years' dune season.... While I am only looking at a 16ish foot long one, why do some trailers have the side door over the axles like this one:http://www.kiperts.com/cargodetail.asp?ID=9455 ?? ToddACimer 06-23-2007, 05:59 PM My guess would be so that if you load a car over the axles you can crawl out the door and not have to walk the length of the vehicle crammed against the wall.
