loco4x4 10-10-2001, 11:22 AM I just bought a cast aluminum auto tranny pan for my tow rig. The stock pan has a magnet fastened to the bottom of the pan. I need to put one in the new pan. Has anyone done this and if so, what did you use to hold the magnet in place? Old Scout 10-10-2001, 12:21 PM Epoxy will hold it. FWIW Epoxies that have a mixture rate of 3:1 or 5:1 is much stronger than epoxy that has a mixture rate of 1:1. The 5 minute stuff is the weakest of the bunch.
