Anyone use Airsoft bb's or regular BB'S to balance their tires, I am running 38inch tires and would like a smoother ride anyone know how much weight to put in a 38X12.50-15?

Thanks
Jeff

I think it's a myth that it actually works.

in theory it makes sense, my brother did it to his front tires, but has a dented driveshaft, and two unbalanced rears, so he only noticed a small difference.

Buddy of mine did it recently, and they worked quite well. Can't tell you how much he used though...

My buddy has 38.5" tires, he used a golf balls on his, worked wonders, a very clear diffrence.

I'm gonna be putting BB's in my 35" MT/Rs this weekend, I'll let you know what I put in.

I just convinced my brother to do it. So far its working fine for his 35-12.50-15 bfgs.

It seems to work on my 33x12.50s I've got some other serious suspension issues right now, so once I get those straight...I report back

I'd use the airsoft from Walmart.
6000 x 0.12 gram ~= 24 oz

JeffI put 6 ounces of bb's in each of my tires. Running allied steel beadlocks on 33" mtr's. Good to 70mph on the highway so far. Get a lot of wierd looks when coming to a stop when all the bb's bounce off the rims falling to the bottom of the tire:D
