: Carnage LOCATION annouced
Big Rich 06-05-2002, 04:28 PM Hopefully this is information you've been waiting for:D
Location for the 1st annual "Carnage FOR the Con" is Donner Ski Ranch.
This location affords us the ability to return each year for great Rock Crawling action in a location perfectly suited for our needs.
Camping for Wednesday night is available at the resort for $5.00 per night (dry, cold camping only). There are restraunts in the area, and if there is interest, we could probably pull off a big BBQ on the evening of the 3rd.
Admission fee for spectators is set at $10.00 per person with child under 12 free.
*****REMEMBER, THIS IS A FUND RAISER FOR THE DEFENSE OF THE RUBICON, NO PROFIT WILL BE MADE OF THIS EVENT BY THE PROMOTER*****
Teams will find out more details about the compeetition at the captains meeting this saturday. Contact Flatty for more information on the meeting.
Next week I release more information about the event. Besides that this is a one day event, and has attacted the interest of the National Media.

fatkid 06-06-2002, 04:33 PM :)
BnTMike 06-06-2002, 04:46 PM yes... I want it to be almost imposible.... steep is good and drops are better.... mabye a course where you have to roll off a rock to get to the lower half of the course to finish....that would be sick.
Tight is ok... but let us run with wide cones like JV cal rocs... 110" was nice...
Crack lines are always a crowd pleaser..
here is the last pic I have after last weekend...after the fresh paint...

Thanks for the ideas mike... WE will have to figure out whats the widest width running.. and then figure out what the cone placement will be.
