For Sale:
2000 Model Jeep Wrangler Sport
4.0Liter 6 cylinder with 45,xxx miles
Automatic, AC, Cruise (Bwahaha), Tilt
Dana 44, 4.56 gears, Superior chromoly shafts, Spicer Joints, Lockright
Ford 9”, 4.56 gears, TCM disk brake kits, Detroit Locker
37” Maxxis Creepy Crawlers
Cage
PSC Ram Assist
York Compressor (for onboard air, lines and tank not hooked up)
Modifications:
The jeep was modified with a front cage, 8.8 rear axle, and Terraflex/RK 5.5 inch lift, 4:1 Terra Low in the tcase, Slip Yoke Eliminator, tranny cooler, and Tom Woods Driveshaft, etc., all before I bought it 2 years ago.
Since I bought it I pulled the axles and put in a Ford 9” rear with TCM disc Brakes, Detroit Locker and 4.56 gears and a front Dana 44 with Chromoly Superior inner and outer shafts, Lockrite locker, Tbird Calipers, and 4.56 gears along with a PSC hydrolic assist steering with 1.5” OD 0.25 wall drag link and tie rod.. I added to the tube work, rebuilt the rear suspension to a wishbone tri link with RE joints and 1.75” od 0.25 wall DOM and a Rockequipment coilovers.
The jeep is a very good performer on the trails and has had lots of experience at Tellico.
The motor runs great, its been garage kept when not wheeled and only had about 1,000 miles put on it in two years. I would not be getting rid of it if I didn't have the urge for a buggy.
The bad:
There is sheetmetal damage as it has been wheeled. This is a wheeling rig and I don't know that I'd use it as a daily driver. I have drivin it on the road and it is registered in SC. The rear diff leaks gear oil and I have not had time to fix it. There are other various small items that need attention but since it was a wheeling rig I have not spent time on.
I am sure I am missing a lot of additions to it, but that is what I could think of. I am only selling the rig to move on to a bigger format. I am asking $15,000 or best offer withought the Warn Winch (leaving the winch on in case I wheel it again before I have a buyer). You can come look at the vehicle in Myrtle Beach, SC 843-222-8707 or email me at Aggressivetj@aol.com
Here are pages of pics of the TJ since I bought it through the axle swap and trips to Uwharrie and Tellico:
