: P38 ABS fix.

A mate has a P38 rangie that he'd like to "switch" the abs on and off.
Reason being a recent icy experience where the abs wouldn't let him stop.

Can it be done?
Could you interrupt all the ABS and VSS sensors with a single "panic" switch to make the ECU think the vehicle was stationary so it wouldn't activate the ABS circuits?

Sounds like he needs to fix the system, not disable it.

Where's the place to start?
I guess it'd be throwing codes if a wheel sensor was having problems. Do they show without doing a scan?
