I'm just about done with the doubler install. Fact I've driven the truck a hundred miles or so. Kinda useless without a shifter but it should be done tomorrow. Here's some pics for ya.

I'm using 1 x 0.25 x 1.25 steel strap, some DOM tubing left over from the crossover build (1.25 x .219 wall), drill rod for the links and clevis pins from McMaster. The assembly will be slipped over a 3/4" bolt with a couple reinforced shock tabs welded to the trans mount hoop.

Here we have the linkage.

This is the shifter bracket from the NP203 range box. Flattened out and then redrilled.

here's a tab I created to connect the lowrange rail

The shifters as uglyu as they are..

It's majic how a blank credit card works to take up the slack between the bolt and DOM tubing :D

A tab from A&A that I drilled out to 3/4"

Hey, I don't know about making kits just yet. I have a hard enough time just working on this junk as it is. Once it's in I'll see how it will take some abusive shifting.

What do you think you have in that setup.... both $$$ and time? Just curious.

Umm the DOM could be purchased at onlinemetals.com for cheep (need 5" or so), the strap was about 5 bux for 5 feet, the drill rod was 3 bux, clevis shackles were 5 bux each, mounting hardware, bolt and misc another 10 bux... like 60 bux in parts and 4-5 hours time?

I need to figure out a shifter boot. I'm thinking (3) hydraulic clutch slave cylinder boots... or the like. anybody have better suggestions?

Click on this link for your triple stick shifter, I bought one about 6 months ago. It works and looks great!!

I like that boot. Cool. Version 2 will use round stock so I'll pick one up then.

So heres how it came out. I'll call this the prototype. next one I'll know what I'm doing ;)

here are a few pics of my home made triple stick build if you can use any ideas off it. Last pic was before I trimmed the shifter arms shorter because of possibly shaft clearance and didn't need that much shifter throw anyways
