Finally found out what the hell broke in our t-case a couple weeks ago during the race. Looks like the case let loose. Cant find any damage inside though...

thats pretty sweet....and I would guess pushing things to the limit. some "right stuff" and a ratchet strap and you should be good to go :D

LT 230 carnage is not frequent...so I guess you can keep running it...so was it hard mounted?

No, it was mounted in the factory mounts to the frame. I swapped it out with another LT-230 for now so we can run the Hannibal race this weekend, but when we get back I'm going to replace it with an Atlas 2 case. Gotta have twin stick for the Rock Race courses..

Hi
Do these make an adaptor to connect the Rover ZF trans to an Atlas 2 transfer case?

Nice!!!!
Eric! Make an inspection plate from 3/8 steel an replace the stock one with it.. Bolt it down then dowel it in a couple of places. That will help prevent this... Same stuff happens on Spicer 18's and Dana 20's

I broke the cross shafts in mine so if you need a case call -951-805 5157-Pay the shiping and you can have it...

Thanks for the offer on the case! Luckily I had a spare to throw in to get us going for the race.
I've got some crazy Rover guy building an adaptor for the new Atlas case. I figured there might some interest, so hopefully we can get a few made.
Good news is we kicked ass at the Hannible race and even brought home a check for a 5th place finish! That's pretty big for us if you've seen some of the rigs we compete against. The Rover cleaned up some of the sickest obstacles I've ever seen like nothing. The crowd was going nuts!

c an't you get the 2wd by pulling the ebrake?
If you use an earily lt230 case they are thicker........

Dam that's impressive - any idea how much power you were putting through it?
Heard Eric's name mentioned on Superlift's 4x adventures TV the other weekend (CO Springs Rock Race?) - cool to hear some one you know mentioned on TV.

I'm guessing we're close to 285 HP. All I know is that we had her floored and then it went bang. It was depressing. Any way, here's the link to the Pirate Gallery from last weekends race http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=594578
