The guy works at a place called stewart and atewart racing development . He said they will have the new "black" tire mtr's soon too . I got mine mounted up last night and will hit the rocks sunday .:usa:

Yes , but these are a harder compound , with even more sidewall protection . He went to baja the other day , so i imagine him and his crew are high speed desert guys .:usa:

i always thought the MTRs work so well because of their unusually soft compound

I've always kind of wondered why they chose to produce the 37" in a 17" rather than a more popular size like the 16" or 16.5":confused: Yes, I do realize the lack of a safety bead and that a 17" will hold better than a 16.5", but from a marketing standpoint there aren't to many 17" rims out there and they also aren't that popular.

Alotta wheelers are running the 16" and the 16.5" rims are using those stupid funny looking things called :rolleyes: BEADLOCKS!! I got my MTR's from him. 140 each plus the shipping cost, because I didnt want to drive to el cajon to pick them up. Got to my house fast, and work great for on road and wheelin. Of course, now I have a nail in one of them that needs plugged :(

The same time they let spawnx and chuckiekillskittens back in. The only thing that sucks is scott is banished to the trailer park just like the two previously mention idiots. He refuses to come back due to that as far as I know. :(
