I wanted to know if someone makes a dual cases setup for the new fjcrusier also does anyone make a sas kit for one as well

Look at Inchworm . . .$1650.oo I believe. All Pro or Others may have the SAS in the works? Good Luck

I run Inchworm dual cases (2.28:1 front and 5:1 rear) in my FJC. Call Jim @ Inchworm (http://www.inchwormgear.com) and he'll get you all setup. As for SAS kits; there are none available off the shelf, but there are plenty of places to buy the brackets to do it yourself.

Inchworm had their "lefty" case up at Rubithon last week. available to 5:1... I'd look at that before duals. Duals will require modding the gas tank

Not necessarily true - the Atlas 4 clears the gas tank without nodification to the tank, although a new or modified transfercase crossmember is required. All Pro sells the Atlas 4 setup for the FJ in 2 different ratios, 5.44 and 10.34 final ratios

there are currently 3 SAS FJ's in progress. 1 at Demello in LA, 1 at Bentup in sacto, and another in sac as well. No bolt on kit from anyone yet.

Inchworm does have a nice setup for your crawler needs in the FJ. We can may be able to help you with your sas depending on what you are looking for.

Any one have thoughts on this as I have a full time 4wheel drive model with a 6spd Manual transmission. I would prefer to keep the rig full time 4wheel drive and have the crawl ability due to the local terrain (steep!) . . .

Just pondering this but the using the Klune may actually allow Me to keep the other systems (ATRAC, etc.) available since I don't currently have a SAS rig and could use all the help I can get?

Why do you need AWD? If you want to keep AWD, you can just stuff a crawl box in front of the factory tcase and be done with it. You will need to modify the gas tank in order to make the everything fit. When we did the crawler in my FJC we considered using the stock tcase, but I wanted the 5:1 gears in the tcase not the crawl box, so we did the Lefty.

I'll have to read up again on Your build up. I don't recall if the fuel tank mod was due to length or width issues though it appears the Klune is about as small as they come. My intention is to keep AWD with atrac, etc. in place and Yes just add a crawl box . . .

The gas tank was shortened due to the length of the crawler + tcase. The crawler adds about 8" in length to the drive train. I reshaped the front of the gas tank. Does Klune have an adapter for your tcase/transmission?

Not sure, I know they put a klune in a Suzuki so it may be possible . . . If anyone else knows please advise . . .

Well as of Fri. Klune does not have an adapter for My full time 4 wheel drive/ 6 speed manual trans Fj at this time (bummers) though they did come out with adapters for the older land crusiers (unknown at this time if that would work for My application). This could be a mute point if (in the future/ or if ever) the required adapters for the New auto trans equiped Fjc are not the same as the manual trans full time 4 wheel drive fjc (since there appears to be fewer 6Mt full time 4x4 models in the market) It would not be worth the expense to make adapters only for the full time 4x4 model.

Ps . . . Anyone have a 07 Fjc 6 speed trans and full time 4x4 transfer case to lend the "Klune" folks? ;)

Swap in the 4-speed atlas, it fits great, works great, and offers tons of gearing ratios.

I filled some Fox shocks with nitrogen installed on an FJ today at the shop for a guy that had an inchworm set up. Nicest FJ build I've seen in person up close. He said it would be on display at the Off Road Expo this weekend. Looked like a clean install--even the shifters up top looked factory.

Make up your mind! Are you going or not? :p There will be at least 3 inchworm setups at the pomona show. Figured he was talking about you when he mentioned the stick setup. I gotta check out your wife's handiwork :D

Haha! I have the template in case you want to have a local shop make one or if you can work a sewing machine you can make one. LOL!
