Converted my 86 1.3 to propaine and am wonder how far or how long it will go on the 8 gal forklift tank?

They had a right up about one in ??? 4wheel & sport ute last/this month's issue.
If I remember correctly the mileage goes down 1-2 MPG but the power is supposed to go up.

my 1.3 gets about the same mileage as it did before and has more power.

Im just curious if it will make a three day trip to the con or if I Need to carry more fuel

I get two hard days of wheeling with a little left. Thats about 12-14 hours of throttle time. My iroks are aired down to 2lbs, so I don't think thats helping my mileage either.

How big is your tank?

8 gallons last me a weekend of wheeling with some left over I did the hole zukmelt last year with the night ride on 1 tank but I always keep a spair back at camp:smokin:

8 gal. I wish I had room for the 10 gal tank because I think it would handle two really hard days of wheeling. 10 gal would do a 3 day weekend of decent wheeling.

We've got a trail by my house that is 5-6 hrs of hard wheeling. I know for a fact I can't run it twice with the same bottle. 8 gal comes back under half full every time. If I had a 10 gal tank, it would be a no-brainer.

Thats good to hear I think im going to run 2x 8 gallon tanks so I should be more than good
