Just wondering if you had made any progress, I'm waiting to see how those wagoneer rears are going to work for you.
Anyone else running wagoneer springs on their zuk? I did a search, but didn't come up with much info.
Thanks!

Super sami is up and running. It is way overgeared! I had to stop working on it a while back. All of the hard stuff was done so my room mate finished it (it's his sami). None of my stuff has broken yet, but he ripped both of the front shock towers off (he put on) There's some strange angle iron tower/bumpstop contraption on there now  Early into the project, after buying the waggy's I realized they weren't going to work. It's running a custom toy IFS rear pack in the front (minus overlaod and one leaf) and a stock yj pack in the rear. I want to go 1/4 elip or somethign in the rear, but it probably won't happen. He'll probably get a set of 2.5" yj's to get rid of the 3" block that is now in there. It'll be up in Kyburz on the 22nd for the hi-landers poker run and probably on the con for the 4th.

Thanks for the info, I guess I'll get the YJs I have my eye on. :D

I just finished putting front and rear Wagoneer springs on my zuke. I took 1the smallest leaf out of all springs. Had to extend bumpers 4" to mount springs. The front is quite a bit stiffer than the longer rears.
The rear axle was moved back about 1". Still am working on driveshafts z-link and shocks. Used 4" shackles front and rear.
33x12.5x15 tires. No body trimming. Looks like I'll have a whopping 26-28" articulation. How much - arch can I have before I start breaking springs?
Thanks,
Dale

Wilson,
I think you mentioned you used a Wagoneer Saginaw steering box? Have any pictures of that? I've got a scout II box I'll be mounting up pretty soon.

I can get pics of the box setup. I had to do it by myself, so it's a bit of overkill, but at least it won't go anywhere.
-I was going to use rear waggy's on all 4 corners originally but did not want to extend both the front and the back of the frame to clearance the rear springs. With that decided I checked the meas. on a set of toy IFS springs that I had and I got more wheelbase and better approach angle by using them.

Yep,
I'm running Toy springs front and rear.. Still need to drop in the rears. Need to finish my motor mounts and driveline issues and steering before I move into the rear. Shouldn't be long now.

I have a set of 84 toy rears I may put in the front of mine someday too. They have a nice offset pin and a really soft spring rate.
