Well it looks like I'm going to be stuck in a storage unit again for my "shop" here in Houston. I've got a MM175 and a Synchrowave 200 among other electrical tools (big compressor, 110v though) etc... I need a generator that can handle running this type of stuff. Obviously not all at once, I don't mind being able to only run one at a time, plus some small tools like the grinder and drill for notcher. What type of generators or size do I need? I looked at Millers site and am not real sure which one would suit me best. Any input is appreciated!

Do you have access to large propane tank propane or city natural gas? Or do you just want something that runs off gas or diesel? Looking at what you posted, your Syncrowave 200 draws 54A @ 240v. To get that kind of power you are going to have to get something around a 13kw generator.

I'd probably prefer diesel, but propane is easy to come by around here too if it's better/cheaper?

A diesel generator is going to cost more $$ than a comparable gas generator. I think Seabass44 (12voltguy) recently bought a generator and air compressor to run his plasma. Maybe he can chime in.
