Tranny question

I have been told this is a T19 with a 20 TC. Can any of you IH Guru's tell by looking or where do you look to know?

Clean the crud off the top of the transmission and you will see numbers. From those numbers we/someone will be able to tell you what it is.

Or you could search google and solve the riddle all by your lonesome.

looks like a d 20 from this angle... dont know bout the tranny

Kind of need the numbers, but it looks a tad small to be a t19 IDK :confused:

Reverse left and up = T18

Reverse right and down = T19

Put it in first gear and turn the input shaft 4 times around the rear yoke will turn once = T19 close ratio . If it takes 6 turns of the input shaft to turn the rear yoke once = T19 wide ratio .

13-01-097-901 on top.

One PTO cover or two??

ONE = T-18
TWO = T-19

And by the extra long input shaft it is IH all the way.....

Forget about the #'s they don't mean jack half the time since the top covers interchange between T-19's...
