My sami is gutless. When i take off I have to have the rpm's probable around 5000 just to move then it bogs down and gradualy excelerates. I m running 31 in mudders. Is this just to much tire with stock gears. when in low range its a little better but still doesnt have much power.

whats a carb rebuild run and is it easy and worth it for a stock carb.

any idea on things that might create more power other than new engine or gears.

I also am looking for a used low price low geared t case

Thanx chuck

I'm running 32's right now with stock gears and stock motor, until i change out the tcase gears, mine will bog down too and feel weak...

There are some other small things that could help too, but if you ask me, lower tcase gears is what you need and what i need too.
Just my $.02 cents worth.

go under your rig and check your cat, they stop up real easy. i have had this happen to 3 different zooks. just crawl under it and hit the cat with your hand and listen for it to rattle. do this when its cool. also check you vacume lines. it should run a alot better than you describe. mike

I agree with gunracer1, I clogged 2 cats on my zuk in 6 years and had the same problems you got.

check all the vacum lines, im runnin 31s and stock gears, while it has no real power, it performs better than what your saying. also, how old are the plugs, plug wires, dist.cap, and rotor button???

roter cap, wires, plugs are all new with in last 3 months. when you look down your carb is ther fuel in both barrels. I only see fuel in the smaller barrel the one with the butter fly?
