ivve got a guy whos gonna give me a rear and front of out a 91 dodge ram d 150

i know hte front is a 44..

but the rear what would it be?

its cover s a 12 bolt.. i dont have it here so no pics .. is this worth my time of going and getting? he wants me to come get it tonight .. so any help wouldbegreat

should be chysler 9 1/4". fairly stout axle but limited gears available. 4.56 is lowest

DO THESE NUMBERS TELL ME ANY THING SPECIAL..
IM LOOKING FORA GEAR RATIO..

SORRY IM A JEEP PERSON.. BUT ALWAYS LOOKING FOR DEALS..

The gear ratio should be on a tag on one of the upper cover bolts unless the gears have been changed.. In that5 year range they will probably be 3.21 but could be 3.55if it was a V8 truck.. V6's will most likely have 3.92 gears..
