HighToy 06-06-2002, 01:36 PM Here are the pics of the moster bug I was telling some of you about. It is a full size chevy frame with 14" cut out of the frame with a 305 under the hood.

damn you weren't joking when you said the pictures are big
looks good though
Pdaddy 06-06-2002, 01:43 PM hahaha, theres a kid in the town I just bought a house in that has a bug on a CJ frame, he runs 33 boggers, I asked him if it was locked up he said, whats that? fawkin jackass! :flipoff2: He said its a comp. mudder!
HighToy 06-06-2002, 01:47 PM This guy doesn't drive it a lot. He built it just to see if he could. The key on the back is hooked up to a winshield wiper motor so it rotates when he drives it.
It turned out to be a VERY nice vehicle.
dangerber 06-06-2002, 01:47 PM I like it, looks like a big, beefy 4x4 baja bug! Cool! :D
He did a nice job on it, too, it's clean, not one of those hillbilly hack jobs! :rasta:
Pdaddy 06-06-2002, 02:16 PM yeah no disrespect for that particular bug, it looks to be really well built (just not something Id really do!) the one in my town is a serious hillbilly hack job! :shaking:
ouibus 06-06-2002, 02:19 PM Very nice, that thing is clean. What size tires are those? They look to be around 35". Although, if they are 35" Baja Claws, then they only measure to be 33"s. At any rate, that is very clean conversion.
white knight 06-06-2002, 02:24 PM Very clean. Nice pics!!!!
SeaBass44 06-06-2002, 02:37 PM he shortened to much,,,rear tire to far fowaed:rasta:
HighToy 06-06-2002, 02:48 PM It is actually about 3" to far forward. I think he's going to redrill the perches to compentsate. I'm waiting for Crash to see the wiring in the engine compartment and have a heart attack. :D

Thats the 1st thing I noticed! Can you say SOLDER ...S-O-L-D-E-R... and shrink wrap tubing. It looks like he put some time time in to it, too bad he butchered the wiring. Not my taste, my bug is about 4" off the ground, but I've seen worse (can you say 4x4 camaro?)
