How much can I realisticly expect to pay to ship a non-running pickup from western Washington to New Jersey. The broker I have it listed with has listed it at a very low taget price. I'm getting no takers and need to make this happen within the next two weeks. Anyone?

From what I found when I asked all the car shippers is that non running is really non desirable so they jack up the price too much, the best i got was $2500 from W coast to E coast.
I am working on something to start hauling cars, especially non running at competitive rates, for now I can do E to W $1500 a piece for non running.
I still can make more money going east so I need to make it $2000 W to E to make it worth it.
I won't deal with runners much because I can't compete with the car haulers, I only carry 3 vehicles per load with a semi tractor.:D
But I can compete with the non running vehicles, I am willing to do some work for the extra cash:smokin:

$1500 to the truck, $150 broker fee, who know's to the tow truck (jeep is located up a steep/switchback dirt road, will need to be flatbeded to the hauler) The transporter should be able to drop right in front of final destination) All in all, a little extreme for a project truck. But, it's mine and better than anything I could find on the east coast (key phrase is "What I could fine")
Will be loaded today.
