I swear I've seen the measurement on here somewhere before, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Even in the D60 bible, the columns are blank. How far is the differential offset on these axles? Distance from axle centerline would be ideal. All I can find is that the later Ford 60s are 3.5" MORE offset than the 78-79, however I can't find what these are.

Minor point, but can you confirm as to whether the spring pad width is 2.5" or 3" (or ???). Ford is left blank in Dana 60 bible. Lets get some more things filled in on it.

For some reason it never occurred to me until now that I could use the axle shaft lengths to find the offset.
According to Bill Vista's D60 bible:
long side inner: 34.56" 78-79 F250 and F350
short side inner: 18.68" 78-79 F250 and F350
This puts the long side at 15.88" longer than the short side, making the differential 15.88" offset to the driver's side.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The spring perches are 3" wide.
