I got a 210r out of a chevy van at the junkyard a while back, i was just pressure washing it and destroyed the clutch bearing, i have been sifting through the autozone website looking for the bearing with no luck, my guess it was a late 70's though a mid 80's. The engine it was bolted to was a 350 or 305, thanks guys :mr-t:

never seen a york on a chev....just the old long "log" looking compressor. Are you sure it was a factory installed compressor? Is there no bearing number on the bearing? Most parts places can cross the bearing p/n

From what I've read the vans w/Yorks were dealer installed. The bracket mounted the compressor above the water pump & intake manifold. You may know all of this. You have the mounting brackets.... want to sell them?

that looks like its in the same place but it was mounted a bit higher and it had a bar for support that came from one of the holes on the york and went to the intake manifold, it was for rear a/c i have heard people mention. it was actually in the first van i looked in, pretty lucky. the york looks like it will stick up higher then the hood so im gonna tip it on its side because the bolt holes are the same on each side. the part number mentioned in this write up http://www.stu-offroad.com/otherwriteups/yorkclutch/yorkclutch-1.htm looks like the right one, i ordered one from napa i should get time to try tomorrow, i tried the volvo york clutch bearings and they are different, the inside of the bearing is just about twice as thick as the outside. no thanks on selling the brackets, they look easy to copy though :grinpimp:
