I'm thinking about extending my buggy leaf in the rear to major proportions, but worry about wheel hop and rear steer. So I'm thinking about adding some links (not full bore coil over type, just something to add stability to the rear). Any you dude's doing this? Got pics? Ideas?

I know. It's wierd. This post went to page three in a day. I really thought others would have ventured here before and I'd get some good commentary (or flamed for a bad idea ). Guess I'll be the first.
WHY???? Stop kidding yourself and do a linked suspension.

Do the 1/4 ellip. It is not very involved, and runs killer on the street. If you are gonna go through all the effort of linking something up, the work involved in the 1/4 is NOTHING!!!! All the work involved is in the 4 link. The cool thing is if you decide to go coilovers some day, just swap them in and call it a day.
Dimitri
it is not involved just time consuming. Shit, i built all the parts in a day, but took a bit longer to do the install.

My springs are 54" and my buggies are 22. Whithout dual shocks you will get what I call pogoing. Not wheel hop as much as vehicle hop so you need some shocks to keep this from happening so much and what I am going to do to fix this (I think) is run dual 9000's in opposite directions because the dial on them only affects compression not rebound. I also run an antiwrap bar but that goes without saying.
