Cool pics Vova...

Moab is on my "10 places to wheel before I die" list.

Hopefully will get there within the next year or two.

went the last two summers, what a blast. did pritchett canyon and golded spike this year. it is a great place to wheel. we just go for 2 or three days after we do ten days in colorado. it really put a end to the vaction. then we drove straight thru to ft.worth texas.

we just came back at the end of Sept. Thats one looong drive! We always stay over night at Santa Rosa, NM. I don't think I want to drive straight back to Dallas, y'all must have 'buns o' steel'
BTW...what DOES it say on the hill?

It is about 5 hours or so from vegas. I can't remember how far vegas is from LA. Isn't it something like 6 or 7 hours depending on where in soCal you live?
In the summer it is always at least a 100 and you can add about another 10 out on the rock.

Dingo, from the LA area it is about 750 miles and about 14 - 15 hours of driving if you are towing and stop for gas and eating. Go straight up the I-15 and make a right on I-70 in Utah. Head east to the turnoff to Moab, 25 to 30 south of I-70. You can also go out the I-15 to Barstow and make a right to go east on I-40 to Flagstaff and then left to head north, however it is not interstate highways from F.S. to Moab.

...and then out of nowhere it will start hailing golf balls for 15 minutes, then back to 100 degrees. A couple of years ago it was about 95-100 on Saturday, woke up Sunday to 6 inches of snow. You can never geuss what's gonna happen down there.

you think a 21 hour drive is bad?

2013.8 miles and an estimated driving time of 35 hours straight is what I'm looking at if I were to go

Moab Rocks! I go there every April after working a tradeshow in Vegas. This year we went to the Maze district. For those that really want to get away from everyone, this is the place! You'll spend more time hiking and rock crawling though....

Still the 90 mile 4x4 drive in was cool.
