why does AA say not to use the GM bellhousing where the starter mounts to it, and not the block? does it cause clearance problems for the front driveline, or is there another reason i am not thinking of? by the way, 3spd fj40 sprung under.

my 45 had a small block, cast iron bell housing, 3 spd with floor shift conversion and a vacuum transfer case in it and i had no problems!:rasta:
