my buddy blew a pinion in his rear end. he's got 4.10's, and a spare 3.90 3rd in his garage. if he puts the 3.90 in the rear, will he be ok in dirt and stuff, or is he asking for :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: ? thanks guy :usa:

4:10's are a dime a dozen. there cheap. no chance risking to screw up his drive train, if he decides to, he should run less air in the front? my 2 pennies, look for a 4:10 third they should be really easy to find.

wouldn't you want to run less air in the rear, to give the diff less diameter of tire to turn?

no you will break the trans or t-case!

i did not mention he's doing this only for a temporary fix until he gets $$$ to lock his 4.37's that he has. but thanks, i will tell him he will :nuke:
