I was looking at the advertisement on the allpro web page for the new stronger T-case output...
"Over the years we have seen a few output shaft failures in Toyota transfer cases especially when used hard on the trail. All of the failures have been in exactly the same place, right next to the clutch dog in the machined depression behind the teeth, near the center of the shaft. "

This shaft is made from 8620 alloy steel (I believe the stock toyota shafts are also 8620).
This seems to do nothing for those of us who break the shaft more toward the end... (I have broken two like this).
