I have a 93 Wrangler- 6cyl, 5 speed, 35" tires. Last week, I put a 8.8" from a 1992 F150 under the rear. At the same time, I installed a master cylinder from a 1978 Mercury Marquis in it. I got the idea for the Master cylinder from this site somewhere. For anyone that has done this swap, the rod that goes over the top to hold the top on hits the vacuum booster. What are my options? My other question has to do with front axles. 76-79 F150 fronts. Which ones do I want, which ones to avoid? My neighbor has a couple of them (axles out of trucks) I heard the some have the coil spring perch molded into the tubes, while some are welded on. How can I tell which the axle is by looking?
