My 300 ran fine back in February, went out to start it a couple weeks ago and wouldn't do anything. I tried to kickstart it, nothing. Hooked jumper cables to it and it wouldn't do anything. I don't get headlights, a neutral light, anything. I put a known good battery in it. The starter cranks if you jump its solenoid. In the battery box, there is a pink wire that is not connected to anything coming out of the factory harness which is about 3" long. When I turn the key switch on, it has power on it. I can't figure out where it came unplugged from and can't find a schematic on the web. Any ideas?

If it's a trx 300 I'll look at mine tomorrow after I get off work and see if I can't help you out. Mine's a 96 but they were 99% identical from start to finish in that regard. Hell, I think I may even have a spare harness laying out there to help look at if all else fails. Just off hand though there is an inline fuse back by the starter sylinoid. Make sure it's good ro you won't get anything up front to work the starter controle box. If your box went out I've got a spare one of those too. We'll get you going again, I like mine too much to see someone else's down.:smokin:

Sorry it took so long to get back - I'd sure appreciate it if you could look at that wire for me. I did check the fuses in the battery box and also replaced them but no change in the problem. Any other ideas?
