I just got back from being out of the country and had heard a rumor that the east end of the Rubicon is closed because of a fire. Any truth to this? Wondering because I'm headed that way this weekend.

It was a couple of weeks ago, but should be open now.

It was closed late in the week before Labor
Day weekend when I was up there, but the fire
that caused that closure is basically out now.
