Ok, I've got a 94 kdx200 enduro bike. It has recently started leaking at the bottom of the tank, around the petcock. I looked and there appears to be a small crack started right where the fuelplate mounts with four bolts. Now, I have repaired metal gastanks before when they leaked with that two part putty stuff that is sort of like jb weld or something, but what do you repair a plastic one with??? Can it just be sealed with silicone or what? Obviously it has to be gas resistant...any thoughts or tips??

See if you can't locate a plastics shop that does "plastic welding" If anyone can fix it for you they should be able to.

Take the petcock off and put a new oring in, not very likely that the tank cracked.
