Last and best year of the Scout. 345 with a newly rebuilt quadrajet carb and headers. 727 auto tranny, Dana 300 2.46:1(1980 exclusive). Dana 44s front and rear 3.54 gearing, rear trac-loc, front has 3 degrees of castor for better handling(1980 exclusive). Has a year old Best Top soft top. Body is straight and has no rust, runs fine, 31" AT tires, one new, one has 50% left. Odometer reads 42k which might be original considering the body.
Will need a wheel bearing someday and has leaks like any old Scout. Steering box needs to be resealed.
Has not been driven much so wife says get something economical to drive to school. Located in Sparks,NV asking $3000 or Trade. call 775-342-9353
Edit: After looking under the rugs there is some surface rust but no cancer.
