Were gettin close on this -for those not running atlas and wanting to unlock the rear and power up the front and spin her around- its going to be here soon- how strong is it? we will test it don't you worry- it will be a mainly dedicated rock crawler application due the 2 piece driveline system and complexity of running a c/v after the carrier and cost- #1 bent+ twisted (mike ladd) gets one - and toyfamily(nick) - next- of the other way around depending on who gets there's installed first- I'm working out the shifting delema - and its looking pretty good at this point- I can tell you this the shift collar is damn heat treated stuff- my tin coated carbide cutter was not laughing- :D - pic's to be up next week if all goes well- thanks -Jesse

Cool deal.. what are you doing.. somehow using a remco disconnect that they use to unlock the driveshaft?? Or at least something similar, and making it cable or lever operated??
If thats it.. it sounds like it would work.. and it would probably work pretty good

It will be a modifed remco unit - as you know the remco shifters are crap- and hell to set up- so on to making something work and work well- Jess:D

Actually ive never seen or delt with the shifter mechinism... only the actual disconnect on a shaft... and damn those things are a pain in the ass to balance..
Will mike have it done for carnage?? If so ill have to check it out.. Ill be one of the judges up there on the 4th.. and i probably will be going to napa for the norcalrally the 6th and 7th.. If ya see a red headed judge.. say hi.. i have no clue what you look like.
