what are the pro and cons to a dovetail, i was gonna do mine but i'm not sure if i should. if i do it, seems that my rear tire would come up into my fenders and i would have to cut the hell out of them, my tire just miss them now and there not cut.

most fenders are over cut, to clear the tires.

one, you lose your bed space
two, in most states you have to run fender flares and flaps if its street driven...
and its a lot of welding and cutting, so if your down for it... do it. if not, leave it alone...

i bobbed my bed on my DD and i think it was better than the dove tail because most of the trails i run are not narrow, just sharp drops. that, and mines my DD, so i cannot afford to get pulled over 24/7 for mud flaps, and fender flares.

if you dont street drive it, cut it up, and run it.
