kstatecruiser1 07-16-2007, 06:43 AM We are looking for a full time, 1st shift maintenance mechanic at work. This is for a flour mill in Colton. Must have good mechanical skill, basic PLC and electrical troubleshooting. Also any knowledge of TPM would be great, but not necessary.
If you want to know anything more, PM me.
Thanks!

PLC - Programmable Logic Controller
TPM - Total Productive Maintenance/Lean Manufacturing.
rotozuk 07-31-2007, 10:09 AM PLC - Programmable Logic Controller
TPM - Total Productive Maintenance/Lean Manufacturing.
Oh yeah, I'm totally a master of those skills. I live eat and breath Programmable Logic Controllers and Total Productive Maintenance/Lean Manufacturing. And on weekends I cheat a little and dabble in Fat Manufacturing, it tastes so much better with bacon on it!
Am I hired? Do I have to show up for work to get my pay check?
-Wayne
p.s. When we going wheeling?
CrazY RuSSian 08-01-2007, 09:37 PM that sounds like a great job, but too far away :smokin:
BurbPilot 08-01-2007, 11:52 PM I'm definately looking for a job, just got back from Iraq. Don't think I'd be a good match for this one, but if you see anything along the lines of computer support or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Pilot.....Let me know! Of course, I can also do alot of other things like manual labor :)

I know a guy that does this, or are you him? He flies R/C with me from time to time, and has his pilots license, etc. Anyhow the company he flies for is around here somewhere. Last I knew he was over in Iraq. I'll try and look him up if you are serious. You have a pilots license and some other experience I take it..?

superman180 01-27-2009, 07:31 PM Too bad it's so far I might be interested. I currently work in Irwindale for the LA Times. I am the lead Electrical Tech on second shift. I work on all of our PLC, VFD & E-stop circuits, not to mention anything mechanical that needs attention such as PM’s. I already commute up from Palmdale just can't go much further. Good luck finding someone.

ZombieFan223 02-09-2009, 09:14 PM Man, if you were closer, I would be way up for it. I just moved to Ridgecrest, and am looking for something more permanent. I am somewhat familiar with PLC, but 100% on the mechanic part.
