since it started make noise like mad I've tried to use it as little as possible. I put in neutral whenever I can insted of holdig down the clutch. Maybe it relubed itself???

Nope if the bearing is dry it won't relubricate. I'd suspect that something else is causing the noise. Maybe the throwout is rattling against the clutch fingers. I once had a piece of the clutch bend and make a bunch of noise before it broke off. The only way to know is to pull the tranny.

I searched for your origional post and in it you didnt say what led up to the noise. The YJ throwout bearing is a plastic unit, with a bearing collar. Life expectancy approximatly 70K miles. Odds are that if it were actually the throwout bearing squealing like that then it would have built up enough heat to trash the plastic body and wouldnt work at all. If wheelin in mud or water proceded the noise, then it was probably a bit of mud or grit trapped between the flywheel/pressureplate/clutch disc, which is why it only made the noise when the clutch disc and flywheel were allowed to slip by disengaging the clutch.
