hi anyone running 6.17 gears? i was wondering if the pinion would hold up. running a toyota dual case with 4.7 with dana 70. running 4.88s now but i want to install the 6.17s:smokin:

ill be gettign mine installed soon, sean said there isnt much difference between the 5.86's adn the 6.17's so i am going lower! jiMMy

fter i compared the two pinions i am going to stay with the 4.88s. the 6.17 look too weak imo.

wow... whats your final ratio?

with the 4.88s its 210 to one. if i go 6.17s it takes it to 259 to one.
