just got a cj-7 and i want about 30 gallons on board, outside the tub. anyone ever use the cj-7- 21.6 gal tank from jc whitney? how much farther does it hang down? i've also concidered the 19gal wrangler tank. will it fit in the cj frame? dont want make my own tank................yet.:D any other ideas?:beer:

I can make you a tank...I mean "liquid holder" :D to your 3 dim specs. it'll be out of 10 gauge and very tough. if you need a skid plate that can be done too :D

the wrangler tanks wear out fast in warm weather. I can make the tank for $90.

I have had the 21 gallon tank for many years on my CJ-7 plus I have two five gallon gerry cans on the back.:skull:

make sure you'll have clearance and won't hit the big ole 70 on the tank :D Or I could make the bottom out of 1/2" plate and it could be a bump stop LOL :D

:laughing: gonna move the axle back 3.5", and was thinkin about goin over the axle with some of it. when i get it moved i'll make a cardboard one and show you pics of it to see if you think it will work.:D

Hey Phill can you Hook me up with something all custom like too? I need to figure something out. for my piece. I'm only looking for about 15 gals though. I'm not even going to try to get more than that in the little space I'm thinking. :flipoff2:
