mettler 06-08-2002, 07:08 PM I can hear it unlock. I peeled the paneling back as far as I could and I can see/feel that all the door-latch rods are still in place. But, I can't get it to open. I have tried just about everything I know. I am thinking of getting someone to "jimmy" the car door, but I don't know if this means that they will actually open the door. But, if I can get the door open and get the paneling off I should be able to figure this out. I have half doors, so I really don't worry about it if the are stuck or not, but I am spooked about her possible getting trapped in the car... I have tried everything. I think the little spring that unlatches the lock is doing its job.
